City under WATER WATCH!

A Stage 1 Water Watch is now in effect for the City of Oberlin. Water demand on June 17th, 2020 was in excess of 500,000 gallons per day, triggering the first stage of the city’s drought response. Stage 1 Consists of voluntary water conservation measures including, but not limited to: curtailing outdoor water use and making efficient use of indoor water, i.e. wash full loads, take short showers, don’t let faucets run excessively, etc. For more tips on water conservation, go to http://www.oberlinkansas.gov/2163/Water-Department
