Electric Funds Transfer (EFT)
- You can set up your account to be paid automatically.
- On the 15th of every month, your utility balance will be transferred from your checking or savings account to the City of Oberlin.
- There are no additional fees and it is the easiest way to ensure your bill is paid on time every month.

Payment Dropboxes
The City of Oberlin has two convenient dropbox locations in Oberlin listed below.
- The downtown dropbox is located on the front of the Police Department at 107 W Commercial:
- The drive-up dropbox is located south of the Gateway Civic Center at 1 Morgan Drive:
Online Banking
- Set up the City of Oberlin as a payee through your bank’s online bill pay. Contact your bank for more information on this option.
eCommerce Registration Instructions
You can pay your bill online with a credit or debit card through the City of Oberlin website. If you have an established utility account with the City, you can pay your bills right here with no stamps, envelopes, checks, or trips to town. We accept the following cards:

It’s easy to get started. If you’ve never registered before, registration is fast and convenient. To register you will need your name as it appears on your bill, billing address, account number, PIN number (located above your account number) and your email address.
You’ll create your own personal user name and password and, when completed, a confirmation email will be sent to you indicating that you are now registered. Once registered, you will need your user name and password to access your account.
